On April 8th, it was revealed that singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will be making her acting debut in the upcoming Fuji TV drama, 'Kazoku no Uta'.

Starring actor�Odagiri Joe, the drama tells a story about a former rock star who suddenly finds out about the existence of his 3 daughters. Kyary will make an appearance as herself in the first episode. �She will ask the protagonist to compose a song for her.

Regarding Kyary's appearance, Fuji TV producer Shikanai Tsugi commented, "We are going to have an artist appear in every episode. We definitely wanted Kyary-san, who has an unique worldview and sparkling aura, to appear as the first artist. It turned out to be a really interesting and unique collaboration."

Meanwhile, Kyary expressed, "It was fun to get a taste of an atmosphere that's different than usual. I'm very honored that I got to make an appearance as myself!"

'Kazoku no Uta' will air every Sunday at 9:00 pm starting April 15th.
