On May 26th, Ishikawa Rika and Yoshizawa Hitomi's new unit ABCHO held a release event for their debut single, "Me wo Tojite Gyusshiyo", at Tokyo Dome City LaQua Garden Stage.
Because "Me wo Tojite Gyusshiyo" is the theme song to the anime series, 'Sengoku Collection' Yoshizawa joked, "Since we're at it, maybe we should do some voice acting?"
She then continued, "I want to use a voice that people won't know it's me." In response, Ishikawa said, "This is the first time I heard that Yosshi wants to try voice acting. Then I want to be in charge of the monster's voice."
Instead of holding a handshake event, ABCHO held a "Cho Cho ? CHOP Meeting". At this event, Ishikawa and Yoshizawa chopped the palms of fans' hands.
The abbreviation of ABCHO is "ABSTRACT CHOP", and their concept is "to chop various things regardless of stereotypes". They aim to show a different expression than their original unit Hangry Angry-f.
Aside their debut single, ABCHO sang the coupling track, "Kuusou Discotheque",as well as a Morning Musume medley.
