Crystal Kay appears alongside Far*East Movement at "Dirty Bass" release party + preview of their track "Where The Wild Things Are"

allkpop

In celebration of the release of their second album "Dirty Bass", Far*East Movement held a world premiere release party at Shibuya's Club Camelot on May 16th.

The venue was fiercely enthusiastic even before the party started, with approximately 800 fans, media people, and others packed into Club Camelot. Once Far*East Movement appeared on stage, the excitement of the crowd shot up all at once, threatening to break down the barriers set up around the club in their eagerness to see FEM up close.

For the release party, the members of Far*East Movement intertwined explanations about the tracks on their new album with sneak peeks at the songs and held a Q&A session. Right after DJ Virman - a popular DJ in the LA electro and hip-hop scenes - did his own scratch rendition of the Mario Brothers theme, Far*East Movement broke out into a live performance.

Naturally, the group started with their wildly popular hit "Like a G6", which the crowd responded to with huge cheers. Afterwards, the surprise guest Crystal Kay was brought out onto the stage, where they performed the song "Where The Wild Things Are Ft. Crystal Kay" from "Dirty Bass". Following that song, they also sang the first single from their new album "Live My Life Ft. Justin Bieber" and a remix of LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem".

Far*East Movement will also be appearing at Sonic Mania on August 17th, which will be held at Makuhari Messe.
