It has just been revealed that singer-songwriter Kominami Yasuha will be providing the theme song to the upcoming animation movie 'Asura'!

Kominami has yet to make her official major debut, as her first release "Usotsukizumu" will not be released until May 23rd. The 'Asura' theme song is not a song from her major debut album, so her "next new song" will likely be released at a later date. The mature artist has had an interesting career as a teenager already, and showcases her unique voice and outlook on life through her music, a quality which made her appeal strongly to the creators of 'Asura'.

The anime 'Asura', which opens on September 29th, was originally a serial in the publication 'Shounen Magazine', and is being adapted to video by Sato Keiichi of 'TIGER&BUNNY'. The characteristics of the world in 'Asura' will be brought to life using hybrid animation to create an action anime as yet unseen. Voice actors for the anime include Nozawa Masako, Kitaoji Kinya, Hayashibara Megumi, and more.
