It's been revealed that AKB48 sub-unit Not yet's Kitahara Rie has tried her hand at writing lyrics for the very first time.

Kitahara wrote the lyrics to "guilty love", the coupling track to Not yet's upcoming single "Suika BABY". Under the guidance of producer�Akimoto Yasushi, she wrote the lyrics with the theme of "unacceptable love". It's described as an adult tune which will allow the group to reach out to a wider audience.

Aside Kitahara, fellow AKB48 member Itano Tomomi recently challenged herself to lyric writing for her latest solo single. Kitahara commented, "It was difficult! Once again, I have more respect for Akimoto-sensei. I think it turned out to be a satisfactory song."

"Suika BABY" is slated for release on May 30th.
