Tackey & Tsubasa nominated as special supporters for 'Disney On Ice 2012'

Tackey & Tsubasa was nominated as special supporters for 'Disney On Ice 2012'. They attended a press conference alongside Mickey & Minnie Mouse on May 9th.

Takizawa Hideaki expressed, "I loved Disney since I was young, so I was very happy. I want to jump into Disney's world of dreams and enjoy it together." Meanwhile, Imai Tsubasa commented, "My niece loves Disney's Ariel, so I can boast about it. As special supporters, I want to enjoy it while giving my full support."

As special supporters, Tackey & Tsubasa will be in charge of the special song "WonderlanDream", and will also make special appearances in the show. Takizawa, who has already enjoyed the ice show in Birmingham, England, said, "I became a child once again. The princess waved her hand at me. I'm sure little kids would enjoy it even more."

During the press conference, it was announced that the special song will be used in the finale for the shows in Japan. Takizawa exclaimed, "Wow! I'm honored." Meanwhile, Imai expressed his joy saying, "We rarely get to participate with songs, so I'm very happy. I have another thing to boast about."

'Disney On Ice' is a touring ice show that is held in a musical style. It's been played in over 70 countries across the world, and Japan had their first show back in 1986. This year, the show has been given the name "Mickey & Minnie's princess & hero". It will feature stories by 8 princesses & heroes, where the hero goes out on an adventure to make the princess' dream come true.

'Disney On Ice 2012' will be held in 13 cities in Japan starting July 14th for a period of 3 months.
