It's been reported that Shinagawa Hiroshi of comedian duo Shinagawa Shouji has fractured his left knee.

His partner, Tomoharu Shoji revealed the injury on July 28th, during an event at Fujikyu Highland. According to their agency, it will take "3-4 weeks for complete recovery."

Shinagawa also explained the situation on his official blog. "I drank alcohol! Got drunk! Frolicked! Ran! And stopped suddenly! Fractured!!! Seriously! My bone is weak! 1 month for complete recovery! I've never heard of a bone breaking like that. Even the doctor told me, 'I've never heard of a bone breaking by running and stopping suddenly.' It's the first time I've fractured something at 40-years-old."

He continued by saying, "I'm sorry that I've caused trouble to any persons concerned. Getting drunk, frolicking, running, and fracturing. It can't be helped. I'm so stupid."
