It's been revealed that Kobukuro's Kobuchi Kentaro will be challenging his first full marathon as a charity runner for the '2nd Osaka Marathon'.

Kobukuro went on hiatus last August after Kobuchi was diagnosed with dystonia. Back in April, they announced that they would be resuming their activities, and started working on a new album. On July 27th, the duo will appear on TV Asahi's music program, 'MUSIC STATION'. They're also scheduled to release a best-of album and hold a free�live in September.

On the marathon's official website, Kobuchi commented, "As I thought�about how to use my legs and breathing techniques, as well as how to pace myself, I started to enjoy running. At last, I've decided to challenge myself to an official marathon." He continued, "I'm placing a sense of�fulfillment I've never experienced on the other side of the goal line, and�I'll aim to complete the race!"

The '2nd Osaka Marathon' will take place on November 5th.
