On the 31st issue of manga magazine, 'Weekly Shounen Sunday', it was revealed that Hata Kenjiro's manga, 'Hayate no Gotoku!', would be getting an anime adaptation this fall. This is the third time the manga will be turned into a tv anime series.
'Hayate no Gotoku!' is a romantic comedy about a high school butler named Ayasaki Hayate. In order to pay off his debt of 150 million yen, he becomes a butler for a tsundere girl named�Sanzenin Nagi, who is the sole heir of a wealthy estate.
The manga started its serialization in 'Weekly Shounen Sunday' back in 2004, then was given anime adaptations in 2007 and 2009. It was also released as a movie in 2011.
'Hayate no Gotoku!' has released 32 volumes to date, and the series has sold a total of about 17 million copies.
The broadcast date and time will be announced at a later date.
