On August 1st, Nishino Akihiro made an appearance at the NHK broadcast center in Shibuya, Tokyo for the press conference of a new comedy skit program for which he is a part of, "Shichinin No Konto Samurai". When asked about his new non-celebrity girlfriend, who made a surprise appearance at Fuji TV's �"27-Hour TV" on July 22nd, Nishino declared, "I'm dating a hard-core gyaru who puts on thick make-up. She's a former hostess at a cabaret club �and I met her at the cabaret club. We do not have plans for marriage yet, but I'm not fooling around with her," officially confirming that he is in a�relationship.

Nishino was previously in a relationship with singer-songwriter Uemura Kana, best known for her song "Toilet no Kamisama (God in the Toilet)". It was reported in April this year that the two have since split ways. Nishino made a light-hearted reference to this previous relationship as he commented, "My new girlfriend does clean the toilet for me."

The new comedy program features seven people from various comedian groups performing skits for the audience, and they are Kinoshita Takayuki from TKO, Date Mikio from Sandwich Man, Tanaka Takushi from Ungirls, Kasuga Toshiaki from Audrey, Nishino, Enoue Keiko from Nicche and talent SHELLY. The group excluding SHELLY was also at the press conference.

The members of "Shichinin No Konto Samurai"�have met at other variety programs before but didn't get much opportunity to work with each other on a real skit. Kinoshita remarked, "It's refreshing that we can do skits that we can't do with our regular comedian groups." Date also expressed, "There's not that many comedy programs around. It will be worth it if our program brings about an increase in these sort of programs." Kasuga who's known for speaking flamboyantly also commented, "Let the seven of us go on 'Bakusho On Air Battle'. Then, we will get defeated in a heroic way and get interviewed."

"Nana-nin No Konto Samurai" will air on August 18th, 10pm on BS Premium,�NHK.
