On September 27, the two winners of the '13th Japan Bishojo Contest', Yoshimoto Miyu (15) and Ozawa Nanaka (13), attended the opening reception of the Japanese flagship store of the American fashion brand 'Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren' in Omotesando, Tokyo.

The 'Japan Bishojo Contest' already produced several great actresses, such as Yonekura Ryoko, Ueto Aya, and Takei Emi. This year's contest brought in many more applicants than the previous two contests in 2006 and 2009. In the end, there were two young girls who shared the Grand Prix, which hasn't occurred since the 8th contest in 2002.

The day's opening reception was the first public event for Yoshimoto and Ozawa, who were both wearing the brand. Both of them remarked that they were nervous, and that it was a lot of fun. On the outfits, they commented, "We love the flower pattern."

Yoshimoto continued, "I want to become an actress like Ueto Aya who can move people and put a smile on everyone's face." Ozawa also talked about her dreams: "I want to become a model like Ishikawa Asami and Youn-a and be active around the world."

It has only been one month since the contest. Yoshimoto explained, "I received a lot of mail the day after winning the contest." Both girls are still living in their home towns, Fukuoka and Niigata, and had to travel to Tokyo for the event. The sparkling and bustling streets of Tokyo are still new and fascinating for them. Yoshimoto expressed, "Everything is so amazing and flashy." Ozawa commented in the same vein, "There are so many different stores, it makes you want to check all of them out."

The opening reception was also attended by model Urahama Alisa, DJ KAORI, singer Crystal Kay, and fencing silver medalist Chida Kenta.
