On October 13th, singer Nishino Kana kicked off her 1st nationwide arena tour in her hometown of Mie Prefecture.

The stage was engulfed in white lights as Nishino appeared in a colorful costume. "I'm home! I'm able to start my tour in my hometown. It seems there are people who have come from far away, so many people from all over the country have gathered here in Ise. Without leaving anything behind, I'd like to enjoy today with everyone," she said.

After greeting the crowd, Nishino began singing her ballad, "My Place", followed by tracks off of her latest album, "Love Place". She sang a total of 20 tracks including her hit songs "Aitakute Aitakute" and "Tatoe Donna ni...".

Nishino received motivation from fellow Mie-native, wrestler Yoshida Saori, who would be awarded with a National Honor Award after setting a�record by claiming 13 consecutive titles.

Prior to the live, Nishino had commented, "I'm filled with feelings of surprise and respect by this great achievement. As a woman of Mie, I'd like to do by best with my artist activities with big dreams and goals aimed at the world."

Nishino's parents and their dog as well as her friends were among the crowd of 7,000 people.�Finally, the singer expressed, "I would like to continue making everyone smile. I'm really glad that Mie is my hometown!"
