On October 5th, talento Ogura Yuko appeared at 'Mama Fes 2012' at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi. This marked Ogura's first public appearance since giving birth to her first son on June 5th.

Ogura shared that she gained 13 kg (28.6 lbs) during her pregnancy. "I lost 11 kg (24.2 lbs) without going to a beauty clinic or gym. Child-rearing is amazing," she commented while showing off her slim figure. Regarding the delivery day, she said, "When I woke up in the morning, I had labor pains. Since I was going to be hospitalized for a week, I did laundry and cleaned in a cold sweat. Women are strong."

Her husband, hair and make-up artist Kikuchi Isao was there to witness the birth of their son. She revealed, "When I held him, I was surprised at how much he looked like him."

As her son was also in attendance at the event, Ogura expressed, "He always shows me his smile, so my heart skips a beat everyday."
