On December 21st, singer Amuro Namie held the final concert of her first 5-Dome tour at Tokyo Dome.

This marked Amuro's first Dome tour in 15 years. With 8 shows in all, she pulled in about 340,000 people, which is the most ever for a solo female artist. She performed a total of 30 songs including 25 tracks that were chosen by her fans as well as 5 new numbers.

The concert opened with images of Amuro's past jacket covers projected one after another. She started by singing her first million-hit song "Body Feels EXIT" (1995) and excited the crowd of 50,000 people.

Amuro had strong thoughts about holding a live tour. Her 20th anniversary concert, which was scheduled to be held in her hometown of Okinawa on September 16th, was canceled due to a typhoon. During "a walk in the park", Amuro performed in front of footage of her first dome concert 15 years ago and ran from one end of the stage to the other.

Amuro usually refrains from MCs in order not to break up the flow of the live. However on this day, she was in high spirits shouting things like, "Come on! Tokyo Dome!" At the end of the concert, she even took a commemorative photo with the crowd.

She stated, "It was a very wonderful 20th anniversary. I will continue to do my best, so please continue to support me. I was able to enjoy this stage I built up together with my fans."

The tour will broadcast on WOWOW on December 23rd at 9:00 pm.
