On January 10th, it was announced that actress Koyuki (36), the wife of actor Matsuyama Kenichi (27),�gave birth to a baby girl.

According to her agency, Koyuki had a strong interest in postpartum care facilities and so, she gave birth in South Korea, where these facilities have been developing.

Koyuki reported, "Today, a new member has joined our family. From now on, the 4 of us will work together to build a happy family."

Matsuyama was able to witness the birth of their daughter as he had a break from rehearsals for his upcoming stage play, 'Tooi Natsu no Gogh'. Through his agency, he commented, "To put it in one word, I'm happy. I can't find any other words."

The couple started dating in April of 2009 after co-starring in the movie 'Kamui Gaiden'. They married in April of 2011 and welcomed their first son in January the following year. Matsuyama was also present at his son's birth.
