To commemorate their 25th anniversary, Tsunku's Sharam Q have announced that they will be restarting their activities. On January 15th, the band held a press conference where they revealed that they will be holding a live tour starting in August.

Sharam Q formed in Osaka back in 1988. Since January 15th marked the anniversary of their very first live, they held a press conference on this day at eggman, the live house they aimed to hold a concert at when they first came to Tokyo.

Tsunku shared that they started talking about getting back together on their way to visit people affected by the Tohoku Earthquake, "I was hesitant, but this time, the members all talked together and decided that we'll do our best for our 25th anniversary." He continued, "We want to show our adult charm that we didn't have back then."

During the press conference, the band re-recorded their 1994 hit song, "Single Bed" and announced that they will be releasing it this spring. Tsunku commented, "We haven't sang 'Single Bed' at Kohaku yet, so we hope to appear on the Kohaku this year with this song." When asked how many copies he wishes to sell, he declared, "About one million copies. I want to beat AKB48."

Sharam Q's 25th anniversary live tour will kick off on August 31st at Zepp Tokyo. They will then hold concerts in Nagoya, Osaka, and Miyagi.
