It's been revealed that Koda Kumi met Kudo Shizuka and Kubo Ruriko on Fuji TV's music program, 'Bokura no Ongaku', which will broadcast on March 1st.
Koda is a known fan of the two musicians. For her cover album, "Color The Cover" (to be released February 27th), she covered Kudo's "Blue Velvet" and Kubo's "Otoko".
Before the recording, Koda seemed to be nervous as she said, "This is my first time meeting both Kudo Shizuka-san and Kubo Ruriko-san. I'm very honored by this alone." However, they showed a harmonious collaboration on the air. The ladies exchanged handshakes with a smile, saying, "It was very fun."
The program's chief producer Kikuchi Shin commented, "We were able to record the best three songs. Kudo Shizuka-san... I never thought it would happen. Also, the intense rock battle with Kubo Ruriko-san! Running a music program, I am the most happy whenever we have performances like this."
