Popular voice actress Hikasa Yoko who is known for the voice of "Akiyama Mio" from the big hit anime "K-ON!", will be making a solo debut with her first single "Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai."
Not only is she voicing many popular characters in anime, Hikasa has also participated in many big hit character songs, such as�in "Houkago Tea Time" (the 5-piece�band consisting of the "K-ON!" characters).
Her solo debut single "Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai" has already been chosen as the ending theme song for anime "Shingeki no Kyojin". The anime is set to start airing in April and scheduled for release on May 8th.
It was also announced that she would release her second single titled "Owaranai Uta" that will be the theme song for anime film "Haru" on June 5th, as well as a collaboration album (currently untitled) on July 17th.
