It was reported that the wife of actor Yamada Takayuki gave birth to a baby boy at a hospital in Tokyo in the beginning of March.

Both mother and the baby are in good condition, and Yamada left a comment through his agency, which read, "I am happy that he was born safely. I will continue devote myself to acting just like up until now."

Yamada announced his marriage with a non-celebrity woman who is 7 years older than him back on New Year's day of last year, and announced his wife's pregnancy in October.
