It's been announced that AAA member Hidaka Mitsuhiro will make his solo major debut as rapper SKY-HI with double A-side single "Ai Bloom / RULE" that is set for release on August 7th.

In addition to his activities as a member of AAA, Hidaka has been devoting himself to hip hop music. As SKY-HI, he has appeared in club events frequently, and has already participated in various challenges like MC battles. 

Those were considered unofficial activities until 2011 when he got his regular event at a club in Tokyo, and started building his career as a rapper. He also released the compilation album "FLOATIN' LAB" last year, and successfully held his solo one-man tour this past February. 

On his blog, SKY-HI wrote, "I was able to achieve a big goal of making a major debut. However, I feel iffy when you ask me if I'm happy about it. I can't be happy until I produce good results. I make this clear that I want to be popular. I do want to become extremely popular. I will do my best."

SKY-HI's major debut single "Ai Bloom / RULE" will have a [CD+DVD] version and a [CD] only version. The track list can be seen below.
