Japanese adult video actress Asami Yumi prepared a written message for the stage greeting on the opening day of Hashimoto Hajime's ('Tantei wa BAR ni Iru') newest movie 'Sakura Hime' on June 29. Asami is currently under treatment for ovarian cancer and wasn't able to attend the stage greeting in person. The greeting was attended by the other two starring actors Hinami Kyoko and Aoki Munetaka.

On the 5th, Asami revealed in a tweet that a malignant tumor was discovered in one of her ovaries in early February and that she is currently under treatment. At the stage greeting, a message from her was read out loud for the audience.

"Hello, I'm Asami Yumi. It's really regrettable that I can't be there today, but 'Sakura Hime' is a very precious movie to me. I've put everything I have into this movie. Please enjoy the world of Director Hashimoto. I'll get better, so please wait for me to come back as well."

In the movie, Asami plays a prostitute who is jealous of Princess Sakura's (Hinami) beauty and tries to get in the way of her romance. It also features a scene where the two women are fighting with each other in the rain. Actress Hinami got close to Asami during the filming and revealed that she just received a message from her this morning. She expressed, "Yuma-chan is a very kind person and I hope she gets well soon, so that we can have a meal together again."

The written message continued and now addressed Hinami instead of the audience. "Hinami-chan. I actually saw your puckered up lips and bottom during the make-up when we sat next to each other. Thanks for showing me this nice scene, it made me grin from ear to ear. I'm never going to forget the cat fight with Hinami-chan. Have the bruises from that scene healed already? I'm looking forward to meet you again in private and during work."

Hinami was on the verge of tears when this part of the message was read out.
