On June 26th, singer Kahara Tomomi held a mini live to commemorate the release of her self-cover best-of album, "DREAM", at Ikebukuro Sunshine City.
During the event, there was a surprise announcement that Kahara would be holding a one-man live this fall. This marks the singer's first one-man live in about 7 years. Upon hearing this, she was moved to tears.
In front of about 2,000 people, Kahara sang 5 songs such as "I'm proud". After opening an envelope she received from her keyboardist, she found a piece of paper which read "this fall, one-man live". Fans showed their support with a warm round of applause and shouts of joy.
Kahara resumed her activities last December after a 5 and a half year hiatus. She boldly stated, "My condition is great. However, the journey of my new start is just beginning. I want to train my voice and body properly. My goal is the Kohaku Uta Gassen at the end of the year."
