On July 1st, Anisong idol group Sea*A announced their disbandment through their official website.

Sea*A is a 4-member group from Singapore that made their major debut in August of 2011. The members continued their activities in Japan as they wished to be a part of the culture that they loved. The group recently released their first album, "Sea*A", in March. 

On their official website, they commented, "With many thanks to their fans, Sea*A was able to be active in a country foreign to them even though they were unable to speak Japanese when they first arrived in Japan. Once again, thank you very much for your support for Sea*A."

Member Valerie wrote a separate message to her fans announcing that she will continue her activities as a solo artist.
