It was announced that popular manga "Sukitte Iinayo (Say 'I love you')" will get a live-action film adaptation, and it will be released sometime in 2014.

"Sukitte Iinayo" is Hazuki Kanae's big hit comic which has been serialized on monthly manga magazine "Dessert" since 2008. It was adapted into a TV anime during October to December 2012, and gained a good reputation.

The manga tells a story about a 16-year-old high school girl "Tachibana Mei" who has been living her life without finding a boyfriend, nor making any friends. One day, Mei accidentally injures "Kurosawa Yamato", the most popular guy at the school. However, it somehow makes Yamato become interested in Mei, and he declares his intentions to become her friend one-sidedly. Yamato also happens to kiss Mei in order to save her from a stalker, so it's a love story between the two.

Details on the live-action film adaptation of "Sukitte Iinayo", including the cast members, will be announced at a later date.
