'Kaze Tachinu' claims it 4th victory on top; 'World War Z' opens in 2nd place and 'Pacific Rim' in 6th place.

What's better than going to a cool cinema to watch a nice movie during the current heat wave in Japan? Many people thought the same way on the weekend and most of them chose Miyazaki Hayao's anime 'Kaze Tachinu' as their movie of choice again. It has already passed the midway point on its way to the 10 billion Yen mark.

Brad Pitt's 'World War Z' opened in 2nd place and pushed 'Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de' out of the top 3. Meanwhile, 'Pacific Rim' - Guillermo del Toro's homage to Japanese kaiju films - opened in at the 6th place.

The only new Japanese movie in the top 10 is 'Shonen H' - a human drama co-starring Mizutani Yutaka and Ito Ran - on the 6th place.
