'Kaze Tachinu' remains on the top after its third weekend with good chances of cracking the 5 billion Yen mark before the end of this week.

The second position featured the movie sequel opening of popular TV drama 'Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de' starring Arashi's Sakurai Sho and Kitagawa Keiko. Its opening weekend result was pretty similar to 'Platina Data', another mystery/suspense movie that was released earlier this year starring Sakurai's fellow group member Ninomiya Kazunari. A goal of more than 2 billion Yen should be manageable.

'Monsters University' dropped one spot, but is still doing very well in Japan.

'The Lone Ranger' also opened in Japan and claimed 4th place with somewhat acceptable results. Meanwhile, the double-feature 'Kamen Rider Wizard in Magic Land' and 'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Gaburincho of Music' opened just behind in 5th place.
