On August 8, 5-member female idol group Momoiro Clover Z appeared at a PR event in Tokyo for the "Family Mart X Momokuro Kyodo Kaihatsu Bento" ("Family Mart X Momokuro Co-created Bento.")

The five members participated in the creation of 3 types of bentos for Family Mart (convenience store franchise chain) that will go on sale across Japan starting on August 9.
According to member Takagi Reni (20), "We stuffed them full of food that we liked," and she continued and did PR for the bentos with, "Bentos are like life partners. I've found my soul mate bentos."  

Leader Momota Kanako (19) revealed that the members can spend up to 600 Yen (per person) for their each meal, and she also gave some behind-the-scenes details at how the members arrived at pricing the bentos below 600 yen with, "Before, (when we exceeded our spend), we have been scolded by our manager saying 'you fools!' �but this bentos are purchasable for us."
