Yamashita Tomohisa's 8th single and his cover of Magokoro Brothers' song, "SUMMER NUDE'13" (released July 31st), has sold 99,000 copies in its first week and topped Oricon's weekly single ranking for the week of August 12. 

The last cover single to top the ranking was Yamashita and SMAP member Katori Shingo's unit The MONSTERS' "MONSTERS" (released last November) on December 10 of last year. The first week sales also surpassed Yamashita's previous single, "Ke Sera Sera" (released in March), which sold 97,000 units. 

"SUMMER NUDE'13" is the theme song to Fuji TV's 'Getsu 9' drama, 'SUMMER NUDE', starring Yamashita himself. It's the 2013 version of Magokoro Brother's "Summer Nude" from 1995 arranged by CHOKKAKU and OKAMOTO'S.
