On September 11th, Hello! Project's 5-member idol group Juice=Juice held a release event for their major debut single "Romance no Tochuu/Watashi ga Iu Mae ni Dakishimenakya Ne (MEMORIAL EDIT)/Samidare Bijo ga Samidareru (MEMORIAL EDIT)" at Ikebukuro Sunshine City.
Juice=Juice was formed back in February and is comprised mainly of Hello! Pro Kenshuusei members; Miyazaki Yuka, Kanazawa Tomoko, Takagi Sayuki, Miyamoto Karin, and Uemura Akari.
The girls cheerfully performed four songs at the event, and there was even a surprise with leader Miyazaki reading a letter toward the other members. All the members shared their joy of the major debut on the stage, and also shed tears. Miyazaki stated, "I know we will be facing many things from now, but we will be fine if it' is the 5 of us. I would like to make many of our dreams come true."
Miyamoto who performed sitting due to an injury, made a comment while shedding tears of regret, "I really wanted to dance with everybody...but I will heal my leg completely, and work hard toward our bigger dream!" According to Miyamoto, the cast has already been removed, and she is hoping it will be healed by the end of September.
When asked about their future goal, Kanazawa said, "I would love to grab the Best New Artist Award of the Japan Record Awards", while Takagi said, "I want to be able to hold a world tour." Uemura also said, "I would like to improve our performance skills, and raise our level."
