Singer Serena's (19) 2nd single "CHANGE!!" (November 13th release) has been chosen as the theme song for Kawaguchi Haruna's drama 'Otto no Kanojo'.

Serena just made her debut as a singer last month with the single "Pink no Dangan". This song was picked up as the theme song for Fuji TV's drama 'Shomuni 2013'. It's an exceptional feat for a new artist to be in charge of a drama's theme song two consecutive times.

The drama is based on a novel by Kakiya Miu. Kawaguchi, who will be starring in her first prime-time drama, will play a 20-year-old business woman who swaps bodies with her boss' wife.

Serena's new song sends the message, "Nothing will change if you stand still, make the changes yourself!!" She commented, "I believe this drama will push the backs of those who want to change. I sang my best while imagining the drama.

After hearing the song, Kawaguchi expressed, "It's a melody that will be etched into your mind after hearing it once. It will encourage you no matter how many times you hear it. The drama is a cheerful home comedy, so I feel it's the perfect song." She continued, "Serena-chan and I are the same age, so I feel a sense of affinity. Since this is my first lead role, I know I will cause many troubles, but I want to make it to the final episode by hearing this song!"

TBS will air 'Otto no Kanojo' every Thursday at 9:00 pm starting October 24.
