On October 20, Sexy Zone's Nakajima Kento, Kis-My-Ft2's Nikaido Takashi, and A.B.C-Z's Hashimoto Ryosuke appeared at the "BBJ Dai-hit Kigan! Otoko Matsuri" event for the exclusive male-only audience pre-screening in Tokyo for their film "Gekijoban BAD BOYS J – Saigo ni Mamoru Mono –" (opens November 9.) Nakashima surveyed the event space and saw that about 500 male audience members were in attendance; he was touched as he said, "It was my dream to hold a male-only event, so I am extremely happy. I would like to hold a male-only event at the Tokyo Dome in the future."
Nikaido, who was cheered on by the audience, stated "The brown cheer [deep voiced/male cheer] is awesome~" and appeared surprised by it's difference from the yellow cheer [high-pitched/female cheer] that he normally hears. Hashimoto prefaced with, "This is something I definitely would not say in front of girls" and followed with "I shaved today, but lost (some skin.) This is another loss to my razor!" This expanded into a high tension talk between the cast members.
Nakashima smiled as he said, "I am happy that there are male fans here today, and I would like the number of [male fans] to increase rapidly from here on out," and thanked fans with, "I hold in esteem everyone who has come here today." He summed up his statements with a typical, masculine comment "From here on out, I want everyone to live with a hot beat and soul," and after exiting, at Nakashima's suggestion, a handshake event quickly opened.
The film is based off of Tanaka Hiroshi's manga "BADBOYS" and the late night drama of the same name. The story is set in Hiroshima and depicts the friendships, battles, and the loves of high school delinquent groups.
Iwamoto Hikaru, Fukasawa Tatsuya, Watanabe Shouta (Snow Man), Shigeoka Daiki (Kansai Johnny's Jr.), Yasui Kentaro, Hagiya Keigo, Morita Myuuto, Morohoshi Shoki, Shimekake Ryuya (Johnny's Jr.) also appeared at the event.
