The filming has already begun, and it is planned to finish in the middle of February.



As we previously reported,�"Sukitte Iinayo" has been serialized on monthly manga magazine "Dessert" since 2008. �

It tells a story about a 16-year-old high school girl "Tachibana Mei" (Kawaguchi) who has been living her life without finding a boyfriend, nor making any friends. One day, Mei accidentally injures "Kurosawa Yamato" (Fukushi), the most popular guy at the school. However, that somehow triggers Yamato to become interested in Mei, and he declares his intentions to become her friend one-sidedly. Yamato also happens to kiss Mei in order to save her from a stalker, so it's a love story between the two.

According to the production side, they hope to make the movie one that will make you want to kiss and fall in love, so they are�being very particular about their direction for the kissing scenes.�

"The ideal shiny school life in the original manga gave me a heart-wringing feeling. Since I never experienced such things in my high school days, I was envious about it. I think it would be the movie that you could get courage from Mei-chan," said Kawaguchi.

Fukushi also made a comment, "I need to meet the expectation of the fans of the original manga, and I also would like to do my best to play 'Yamato', the most handsome guy in the school." �

Other cast members to co-star with the two are Ichikawa Tomohiro, Adachi Rika, Nagase Tasuku, Nishizaki Rima, Yamamoto Ryosuke, and�Yagi Arisa.

"Sukitte Iinayo" is scheduled for release summer of 2014.
