On January 27th, SKE48's Matsui Rena announced through the group's official blog that she has landed her first lead role in a movie. 

Matsui expressed her joy saying, "I will be starring in a movie! Being in a movie is one of my dreams. I am very happy to receive such a great offer like this." 

While Matsui didn't reveal any details on the movie, she uploaded a photo of herself and said, "For the role, I dyed my hair brown for the first time in my life." 

She commented on her hair, "I'm surprised myself that I look like a different person." She also seemed to be concerned about her fans' reactions, "There are a lot of people who like my black hair. I also like my hair, so I'm sure I will receive many impressions!" She then reassured fans, "I will dye it back when I'm done filming, so don't worry!"
