This is Tokyohive's regular Drama Prime Time Report giving you a detailed look at the prime time ratings with a focus on the weekly dramas.

NHK is doing well again with their new morning drama 'Hanako to Anne' (starring Yoshitaka Yuriko), which so far exceeds the ratings of the previous asadora 'Gochisousan'.

As for the prime time dramas, TV Tokyo maintains being on the same level as the bigger networks with their new Friday drama 'Maruho no Onna' (8.5%; +0.1). 'Alice no Toge' on TBS lost some viewers with its second episode and dropped 2.3% down to 11.9%. Meanwhile, TV Asahi premiered 'Shinigami-kun' starring Ohno Satoshi and achieved a good rating of 11.2% for its time slot. However, it's the only drama on TV Asahi that managed to pull off a double-digit ratings this season so far. Not their best form.

On Saturday, NTV's 'Yowakute mo Katemasu' is on top of the 9pm ratings with a decent result of 11.7% (-1.7). It's not a very high rating, but at least it's good enough to be on the top in its time slot. Fuji TV totally failed with their variety special 'Sanma & Cream no Kojin Joho Grand Prix', which usually records much higher ratings. NHK aired the 1st episode of 'Long Goodbye' (starring Asano Tadanobu) and recorded 7.6%. The new 11pm drama of Fuji TV, 'First Class' starring Sawajiri Erika achieved a rating of 6.5%.
