On June 2, Kitagawa Keiko and TOKIO's Matsuoka Masahiro visited Kanda Shrine in Tokyo, and wished for their starring historical special drama "Miwotsukushi Ryoricho" to become a big hit.
Looking at Kitagawa who attended the press conference in a Kimono, Matsuoka commented, "Women who look great in Kimomo are nice. They turn cute to beautiful which is really wonderful. For a quite a while, my heart was beating fast looking at the nape of her neck."
Matsuoka also talked about a scene where he cooks with her, mentioning, "During the test filming, it felt a little bit like we were newlyweds."
The historical special drama sets in the Edo period when it was rare for a woman to become a cook. It depicts the growth of a girl, Mio (Kitagawa), who has no relative, as a cook while overcoming difficulties.
"Miwotsukushi Ryoricho" will air on the 8th on TV Asahi.
