After 41 days, AKB48 will resume their handshake event on July 5 at Tokyo Big Sight. Their official blog has announced 6 members who will not be participating in the upcoming event.

Iriyama Anna and Kawaei Rina are still recuperating from their injury, while Minegishi Minami is devoting herself to treatment for kidney cyst. NMB48's Miura Arisa�will be absent due to her studies. NMB48's Yogi Keira and SKE48 Kenkyuusei Sora Miyuka have both graduated.�

A message of apology from the group and staff to the fans say, "We apologize from the bottom of our hearts for causing trouble to those who were looking forward to it, and also for giving this notice just before the event."�
