AKB48's Iriyama Anna (18) performed at the regular Team A performance at the AKB48 Theater in Akihabara, Tokyo on June 30. This was the first time she had appeared in front of the fans since the slashing incident in May. ?

Before the performance began, Iriyama appeared with her injured right hand in a cast and said, "Sorry for worrying everyone. I wanted to show everyone that I am fine again as soon as I could, so I got some time like this before the start of our show." To the fans who had supported her since the incident, she said, "Even when I had been at home by myself, I have heard your voices and they have become my support. I might need a little more time for me to dance like before, but I have a place to come back, and I have all of you who are waiting for me to return. When I think of that, I can move forward little by little without worrying."�

When fellow members asked her how she was doing recently, she smiled and said, "I have done nothing but watch TV."�

AKB48 group general director and Team A captain Takahashi Minami (23) commented, "As you can see, Annin (Iriyama) will be returning to the theater slowly and show her usual self again." She added, "Even though Kawaei Rina is still not ready to return to us yet, I hope you will all watch over us till the day when Team A will be complete again."�
