53 girls have been recruited for 'Baitoru' and AKB48's collaboration project 'Baito AKB'.
The project was announced on August 10 which is also known as 'Baitoru Day'. Successful candidates will sign part time contract with AKS and will participate in concerts and handshake events as a member of AKB48 for 1,000 yen per hour. Out of 13,246 applicants, 53 of them passed the 1st, 2nd, and final examinations. They are scheduled to appear in a new CM for 'Baitoru' this fall.
