Actress Matsu Takako has announced that she and husband Sahashi Yoshiyuki are expecting their first child. 

Matsu uploaded a handwritten message onto her official website. She reported, "At this time, I have been blessed with a new life. We, as a couple, are filled with deep joy right now. I am expected to give birth next spring." Regarding her work before taking maternity leave, she stated, "I plan on doing the best I can, so please, it would make me happy if you would watch over us quietly." 

Matsu married music producer and guitarist Sahashi Yoshiyuki in December of 2007. Congratulations to the couple!
