NEWS' first single for 2015, "KAGUYA," that went on sale on January 7, sold 140,000 copies in the first week, topping Oricon's weekly single ranking.
This marks the group's 17th consecutive chart-topping single since their debut song "Kibou ~Yell~" (released in May 2004).
"KAGUYA" is a love song that has a motif of "Princess Kaguya" from 'The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.'
The DVD that comes in limited edition 'A' contains the music video to the title track and its making-of video which was directed by film maker Ninagawa Mika.
