On May 7, actress Takei Emi attended an event for 'JTB no Natsu Tabi' in Tokyo. During the event, she addressed the recent dating rumors with EXILE's TAKAHIRO.�

Takei first apologized, "I'm sorry to have caused trouble." She then revealed, "We haven't met since," and continued to say with a smile, "He's someone I respect and I want to co-star with him again."�

The two became acquainted after co-starring in a drama last year,�then reunited for its drama special this year. Weekly gossip magazine 'Flash' reported that�TAKAHIRO had visited Takei's home in the middle of the night. However, both parties had denied the reports.�

Takei, who expressed her wishes of traveling alone, was asked, "What if you had a wonderful boyfriend?" She responded, "I yearn for it. If anything, he'd have to be older." She added, "But I don't have anybody like that right now."
