It's been reported that former Morning Musume member Kago Ai's (27) husband Kago Haruhiko (47) has been arrested on charge of domestic violence. 

The assault took place on May 12 at their apartment in Roppongi. Kago was reported to be pushed and kicked, suffering minor injuries on her neck, shoulders, and knees, which took 10 days for complete recovery. 

The couple married back in December of 2011 and welcomed their first child, a daughter, the following year. Last October, Kago's husband was arrested for charging an illegal interest rate on a loan, but not prosecuted.

Earlier in April, Kago revealed that she and her husband had separated and were working toward a divorce. At the time, she had stated, "I will make the announcement again once the divorce has been settled. For now, I ask that you please watch over us quietly as we have a young daughter."
