On August 28, actor Kataoka Ainosuke (43) updated his official blog and announced that he's in a relationship with actress Fujiwara Norika (44). 

In a blog entry entitled "Facts and Feelings," Kataoka wrote, "To my fans who support me warmly like my family and to persons concerned who give me a place to carry out my activities. I would like to share the facts and feelings with my own words, so I've decided to write them down here." 

Kataoka continued, "In my life, I've never loved two women at the same time, nor have I ever two-timed anybody." He then explained, "When our relationship was previously reported, we were just good friends. I've caused so much trouble to Fujiwara-san and her staff. After apologizing many times, we started talking about deep things, and gradually, our distance grew smaller. While consulting about overcoming the headwind, a kind of 'bond' grew between us. We realized the importance of each other."

He also shared, "Although she is very busy, she takes care of my health and diet even more than the time when we were just friends." Finally, he called out to fans, "We've only recently started dating and we are both in our 40s. I won't ask for you to watch over us, but it would make me happy if you would leave us in peace."
