On August 17th, AKB48's Watanabe Mayu updated her official Twitter account and revealed that she has changed her hairstyle.

"I cut my hair the other day, and today's karaage," she wrote and uploaded a photo of herself with her favorite fried chicken. 

Mayuyu is known for her long, dark hair. In the picture, she shows off her new shoulder-length bob.  

Some fans expressed their surprise on her big change saying, "You don't have any hair! lol," and  "Mayu-chan, where is your hair?" Meanwhile, many left positive comments, "Very cute! It suits you well," "Short is cute too," and "You look very mature."
