On September 10, actress Ishihara Satomi (28) attended an event to commemorate the renewal opening of Max Mara in Aoyama.
Ishihara was appointed ambassador of Max Mara, marking her first time being an ambassador for an overseas luxury fashion brand. The actress commented, "It's a brand that is known world-wide, so I'm quite surprised to receive this invitation." She continued, "I never thought that I would get to work with Max Mara-san. It's a challenge for me."
Ishihara attended the event wearing a Max Mara dress and coat. She commented on the comfortableness of the clothing, "I was worried about whether a small, 157 cm (5 ft 1.8 in) girl like me could wear it, but it fits!" She also shared, "In Japan, I want to visit an art museum [while wearing Max Mara]."
Ishihara will star in the next Fuji TV 'Getsu-9' drama "5?9 ~Watashi ni Koi Shita Ikemen Sugiru Obousan~" premiering in October. She expressed, "With the 'Getsu-9' and other jobs piling up, there is definitely pressure, but I want to see beyond that, so I will continue challenging myself."
