The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) in collaboration with Japan External Trade Operation (JETRO), Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Manga Festival Executive Committee, Japan Tourism Agency, and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) are jointly holding the second JAPAN WEEKEND event in Bangkok, Thailand.
This year, the three events, JETRO and RIAJ's music centric event assisting the international spread of Japanese creative contents, "J POP Signature × J-Music LAB 2015 in Bangkok", the Ministry of Economy, and the Trade and Industry Manga Festival Executive Committee's event with its purpose to assist the promotion and business for Japanese manga, "Manga Festival in Thailand", and Japan Tourism Agency and JNTO's event aiming to promote travel to Japan, "Visit Japan FIT Travel Fair 2015 Winter", are being held concurrently in the same general area with aim to push forward the "Cool Japan" and" Visit Japan" initiatives in a collective "all-Japan" effort.
