Nogizaka46 member Fukagawa Mai announced that she would be graduating from the group after their 14th single (currently untitled ) set for release on March 23.



Fukagawa made the announcement on her official blog, and explained, "I naturally started thinking about leaving the group about a year ago. My feelings that I want to start again at zero and take a fresh step forward has been getting stronger."

She also wrote that her last activity will most likely take place anywhere from May to June, as the the group's 14th single's related events end. 

The idol ended the post with, "I will cherish each day with lots of smiles just like I've been doing until now! So everyone, please continue to support me."
