TBS will air its music program 'Ongaku no Hi' from July 16 at 2:00 pm to July 17 at 5:00 am.�

'Ongaku no Hi' started after the Great Tohoku Earthquake in 2011 with the concept:�"Let's spread energy across Japan by gathering the power of music and song!" For the 6th consecutive year, SMAP's Nakai Masahiro and TBS announcer Anai Shinichiro will serve as the emcees. On the upcoming program, Nakai commented, "The theme this time is 'tsunagu' [to link]. Linking feelings, linking hands, there are many things to link. But by moving forward and linking things we cannot see, I would like to create a singable environment for the participating artists and everyone."

The program will feature performances by units formed just for this day, as well as artists who will make their first appearance on television. In addition, there will be a relay medley linking Kumamoto, Tohoku, and Tokyo prefectures.�
