Suzuki Ami has announced that she has registered her marriage on July 1, and is currently pregnant with her first child.  

According to her announcement on her official website, she married a non-celebrity whom she met last December after just 6-months of dating. She stated, "Seeing that he supported me in a very manly and vigorous manner, I started thinking that I could spend the rest of my life with him."

Suzuki is expected to give birth to her baby in January of next year. She expressed her joy of becoming a mother, "I am very happy to have gained a family member that I can love and cherish this much."
