Actor Tsumabuki Satoshi (35) and actress Maiko (31) will be getting married. The couple made the big announcement on August 4. 

According to their agencies, Tsumabuki and Maiko met in the summer of 2012. They hit it off during a get-together for the drama "Higashino Keigo Mysteries" in which they co-starred in. 

Tsumabuki proposed to Maiko in the spring of this year, and they plan on submitting their marriage registration in the near future. They haven't disclosed if they will be holding a wedding ceremony and reception. 

Below is a translated message of the announcement:

We, Tsumabuki Satoshi and Maiko, are happy to announce that we will be getting married. 

We met four years ago and have spent a very peaceful time together. We were both drawn to each other's caring hearts. We wish to cherish these feelings throughout our lifetime and spend our years to come, so we decided to get married.
